Time & attendance

  • Time tracking & attendance

    Clock in from Slack, browser, or desktop. Set your office hours, working days, and timezone; sessions, hours, and daily breakdowns are tracked automatically, no manual timesheets.

  • Break tracking

    Toggle a break with /tickin break in Slack. Tickin pauses the work timer, subtracts break time from worked hours, and shows the daily total. So overtime stays honest.

  • Overtime detection

    When an employee clocks out past your configured daily threshold, Tickin sends a Slack or Microsoft Teams DM with two buttons: continue (records as OT) or cap at the threshold. Their choice is logged with the session.

  • Office hours & late alerts

    Set office hours, a grace period, working days, and timezone. Clock in past the grace window and managers get a late-arrival notice in Slack or Teams, once per person per working day, skipping public holidays.

  • Idle detection

    The optional desktop app watches for keyboard and mouse activity. After 15 minutes of inactivity the session is marked idle, so you never overcount.

Payroll & leave

  • Payroll & salary slips

    Pro-rated salary, deductions, and overtime calculated automatically. Monthly PDF salary slips emailed to every employee on the 3rd.

  • Leave management

    Custom leave policies, balances tracked automatically, approvals routed through team lead and then admin. No spreadsheets, no email threads.

  • Attendance adjustments

    Missed a clock-in or got a time wrong? Employees request a correction, team lead reviews, admin signs off. The audit trail follows.

  • Shift management

    Design weekly schedules per team or per employee. Days, hours, and active state, visible to admins and team leads at a glance.
